Serve with NextGen Youth
At Wintonbury, we are committed to helping our students follow Jesus together, wherever He leads. Our Youth Ministry Leaders* encourage and help students:
Respond as God speaks
Surrender as God leads
Risk for God’s plan
Sacrifice for God’s purposes
Eternally significant and incredibly important, Youth Ministry can be unpredictable and a bit wild, but it's also lots of fun! Read more below about how you can get involved.

Discipleship Group Leaders
If you look forward to building relationships with teens and encouraging them to follow God, this could be a good fit for you. D-group Leaders invest in the lives of students by meeting with them weekly during Youth Group, and praying for and caring for them throughout the year. The investment may be significant, but so are the rewards.
Planning and Administrative Support
Are you gifted in administration, event planning or group coordination? We would love your help planning and organizing the youth ministry. Commitments range from providing consistent support throughout the year, to organizing one or more special events.
Special Event Hosts
At times during the year, adults open their homes for a Christmas party, organize a camping trip or get small groups of youth together for a one-time experience. If you have gifts like hospitality or love teens but have limited time available, this could be a good option for you.
Drivers & Chaperones
We often need drivers and chaperones for special events like our summer beach trip, sporting events or concerts. These are one-time commitments and are often a lot of fun.
Prayer Support
Do you have a heart for teenagers and prayer? Would you be willing to pray regularly for students and the Wintonbury Youth Ministry? Teenagers today face unique challenges, including significant pressure to be successful academically and socially while reconciling their faith with an increasingly confusing culture. Your prayers can make a huge a difference! You can pray anywhere and whenever it is convenient for you. Let us know if you would like to join our prayer team.
Parent-to-Parent Connections
Most friendships are built around shared experiences and the support people offer one another during similar seasons of life. Would you be interested in gathering together regularly with other parents to share the unique joys and challenges of raising teenagers in today's world? We are currently looking to connect any families interested in a group like this.
