What information does Wintonbury collect?
We receive information by you through tabs collected from the Sunday Bulletin or through email you send to us. Information collected includes your name, address, phone numbers, and groups you participate in. We store this information in a secure database along with a record of your tithes and offerings which our Financial Secretary records and then provides you with giving statements. Your financial records are kept in a secure location accessible by the Financial Secretary and Assistant Financial Secretary.
Does Wintonbury share any personal information it collects with outside parties?
Wintonbury does not sell or share any personal information.
Does Wintonbury safeguard my personal information?
Wintonbury secures your personal information through a password protected system only accessible by a limited number of employees who have special access rights.
How does Wintonbury use my e-mail address?
Your e-mail address is used for communication to you regarding life at Wintonbury. If you would rather not receive this information or would like to opt-out of receiving e-mail of this kind, you have the opportunity to “Unsubscribe” through a link that appears on the bottom of any email from Wintonbury. Just follow the simple instructions to have your email address removed from the list of those who receive updates, enewsletters, announcements, or notices of new functionality or services. You may also contact Margy Schuck to have your personal information removed from the database.

Refunds
External to this website, Wintonbury may collect fees associated with event registrations. Occasionally, someone may require a refund. All refund requests will be directed to our Financial Secretary, Elaine Wabrek, for processing. You may contact her by calling the church office or through email. Refund decisions will be based on several factors relating the transaction you are requesting. These could include the following:
1. Did Wintonbury incur expense to secure your participation in the event that we are unable to reclaim?
2. Was the event noted as non-refundable?
