What: We have a special opportunity before us! 

Who: Rev. Donald Gordon;  a pastor at Faith Christian Church in Chicago Heights, Illinois where their motto is “Don’t go to Church – BE the Church" , will be with us to discuss trauma and how we as a Christ's Body can help people overcome its impact in our lives.

In 2019, Don received his Initial Training from the Trauma Healing Institute and in 2020 started To Equip His People – A Trauma Healing Training hub to equip Trauma Healing Facilitators to enhance the ministries of their local churches. Don, and his wife Doreen of 40 years, are Master Facilitator in the Adult Classic Curriculum and a Training Facilitators in the Generational Trauma Curriculum offered through The Trauma Healing Institute under the auspices of the American Bible Society.

Pastor Gordon has earned a B.A. in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University and a M.A/Urban Ministry degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
